The library provides service to the Swedish Armed Forces Headquarters personnel. The literature covers the areas of military science, military technology, international relations and secret service. There is also material about the geographical areas relevant to the work at Headquarters.
Besides access to literature and electronic resources personnel can get assistance with commissioned searches and loaning of books and articles from other libraries.
Computers in the library provide access to electronic resources.
The library is not open to the general public but literature can be ordered to be picked up at the Anna Lindh Library in the Swedish Defence University.
