MFA required for external guests in M365 (Teams & Sharepoint) from November 21st
As part of our IT security work, we are now introducing multi-factor authentication (MFA) for external guests in M365 (Teams & Sharepoint). This means that external guests will need to authenticate themselves when logging in to access our common areas.
What does this mean for you as a student?
It is important that you inform your external partners about the new MFA feature.
From November 21st, they will need to complete this extra login control to be able to access your shared areas. It is a good idea to test logging in to the areas after November 21st.
By preparing partners for the change, we help ensure a smooth transition without interruption in their work.
