Recruitment of Professor in War Studies

All students and staff are welcome to the candidates' research presentations.

As part of the recruitment process for the position of Professor in War Studies (ref nr HF/HR 258/2022), the Swedish Defence University's Appointments Board welcomes you to attend the research presentations of the group of applicants ranked highest by the external reviewers.

The presentations will be held on Friday 25 August at 9 am-1 pm in Sverigesalen. The presentations are open to all staff and students and will be conducted according to the following schedule:

• 09.00–09.45 Maria Eriksson Baaz
• 10.00–10.45 Peter Haldén
• 11.00 - 11.45 Chiara Ruffa
• 12.00–12.45 Juha Vuori

The topic of the presentation is: "The applicant's research and how it relates to the field of war studies". The presentations will be held in English and should not be longer than 30 minutes, followed by questions from the audience.
Each applicant will have a total of 45 minutes for presentations and Q&A.
