Article orders

Articles and other academic publications can often be ordered as copies from other libraries within and outside of Sweden. For copyright reasons, we only distribute the article in paper form.

You order an article by sending a request/link to alb@fhs.se

Purchase Suggestions and Interlibrary Loans

If a book is not available at the Anna Lindh Library, we may be able to buy it, or interlibrary loan the book from another library.

Here you can suggest the purchase of titles that the library lacks.

Purchase proposals

Fill out the form as completely as possible. As a student or employee, you enter your FHS account. As another borrower, you enter your email address. This is so that your order can be processed.

It is possible to send an interlibrary loan request by e-mail, alb@fhs.se. Expect one to two weeks delivery time.

Libris is Sweden's national library catalogue. Here you can see, for example, if the book is available at other libraries nearby.

Interlibrary loans via Libris

  • It is only possible to interlibrary loan printed books.
  • Individual chapters from an e-book can possibly be interlibrary loaned, but not entire e-books.
  • We can search both within Sweden and abroad for a copy of the item.

The library interlibrary loans materials to students and employees of the National Defence University who have a loan account at the Anna Lindh Library. Employees at the Armed Forces Headquarters also have the opportunity to order interlibrary loans.

The library does not charge any cost for ordering interlibrary loans.

The public is referred to the public libraries for interlibrary loans. Students from other higher education institutions are referred to their respective universities' libraries.

Information for other libraries on how to interlibrary loan from the Anna Lindh Library

The individual library decides which literature is loaned out as interlibrary loans. Normally, course literature, reference literature and entire journal booklets are exempt from interlibrary loans. However, it is possible to order individual copies of the article.

The library does not interlibrary loan:

  • Books that can be found at the Anna Lindh Library. This applies even if the book is on loan.
  • E-books cannot be ordered. However, it is usually possible to order a single chapter as a paper copy.
  • Fiction other than for research purposes.
  • Books for students, if the book is available at another library in downtown Stockholm.

The loan period for books is 28 days. The loan period is automatically extended every four weeks up to 6 times, provided that the book is not reserved. Renewals can also be made on the library's website via the link My loans.

Book loans are free of charge. Article copies cost SEK 100 per article.

Normal processing means that the material is usually posted the same day and delivered within three days.

Borrowed material must be returned in undamaged condition. If it is not returned, damaged or lost, it can be replaced with a new identical copy. Alternatively, it is possible to pay a cost of SEK 500 and SEK 250 in administrative fee.
