Digital written examination on your own computer (BYOD)

At the SEDU, you use your own computer (Bring Your Own Device) to to sit digital on-site examinations. If you have received a computer from the SEDU, it is usually pre-configured. Otherwise, you will need to prepare your device with the correct software and WiFi access before the exam day.

Exams are usually written at Drottning Kristinas Väg 30 (DKV30), the brick building next to the triangle park outside the entrance. On the far left of each floor are the rooms Bure, Jakob Faggot & McLean, which are often used.

You must register via Ladok to participate.
Applications for pedagogical support needs to be registered before each exam.
Registration opens 21 days before and closes 10 days before the exam.
The placement of the room is published on Canvas 1–3 days before the exam and is repeated upon admission to the room.
Students with study support receive room information via Ladok.

Arrive in good time – the room opens 30 minutes before the start of the exam.
You need to have access to your FHS account to log in to the exam system.
If you've forgotten your password, you can reset it with your phone, but then your phone must be turned off and left in the designated place. To change password go to myaccount.fhs.se.
Identification is required when entering and handing in the property.
Mobile phones, wristwatches and other prohibited aids must be left in the designated place.
Permitted aids are notified by the course coordinator in advance.
Food and drink that does not disturb others is allowed.

Some exams you supplement your digital submission on paper.

AMD with support for SSE 4.2

FHS offers a limited number of loaner computers for BYOD exams.
If you need a loaner computer, email the exam coordination at tenta@fhs.se with:

Social security number
Course name and course code
Exam date

Registration must be made no later than two working days before the examination and after you have registered for the exam.
