Lecture on strategic communication

Former defence correspondent at the BBC and first Director of Communications at the Nato Supreme Headquarters Allied Powers Europe (SHAPE) mr Mark Laity visits the Swedish Defence University and gives a lecture entitled StratCom in the New World Order.

The lecture is for a course commissioned by the Armed Forces, but there are a number of seats for students and employees.

On Mark Laity

A former BBC Defence Correspondent, Mark Laity was a key figure in the development of StratCom within NATO and the first Director of the Communications Division in SHAPE, retiring in 2020. He is an Associate Fellow at the King’s Centre for Strategic Communications and for his work in StratCom received an Honorary Doctorate from the University of York.
