Lecture with Carl Heath on the theme AI
Welcome to attend an inspirational lecture with Carl Heath, Senior Researcher and Strategic Lead for Digital Resilience at RISE. Carl Heath will deliver a lecture on the theme “Hybrid Threats and the Role of Technology in Turbulent Times”.
On 5 February 2026, the Swedish Defence University and the National Cyber Security Centre will host the annual cybersecurity competition, Cyber Challenge. In connection with the competition we organize Industry Day. During the day, an inspirational lecture will be held, and this year we are pleased to welcome Carl Heath. Seating is limited and allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. Participants are therefore encouraged to arrive well in advance.

More information about Carl Heath
Carl Heath is a Senior Researcher and Strategic Lead for Digital Resilience at RISE, as well as a researcher at the University of Gothenburg and a member of SCDI – the Swedish Center for Digital Innovation. His work focuses on areas such as the digital transformation of society, particularly issues related to democracy, digital resilience, and innovation management.
Carl Heath has served as a special government inquiry chair, investigating democracy in a digital age. He currently supports the Swedish Psychological Defence Agency in research and education, and is a member of the Board of the Swedish eHealth Agency as well as the Media Subsidies Council.
