Moa Peldán is a doctoral student in War Studies. Her dissertation project focuses on theoretically and historically understanding UN peace operations and how they have been shaped by materialities, discourses and practices of war and the military. More generally, her research interests include Critical Military Studies, Critical War Studies, Postcolonial Studies and Feminist Security Studies.
Moa hold's a Masters degree in War Studies from the Swedish Defence University and a Bachelor's degree in Political Science from Uppsala University. She has also worked as a research assistant at the Stockholm International Peace Research Institute (SIPRI) and at the Swedish Armed Forces International Centre (SWEDINT).
