- I am an Associate Professor in political science (Ph.D. Stockholm University, 2007). I hold research and teaching merits within several areas of political science: public administration/organization studies, IR/security studies, and sustainability/gender studies. My attention has turned from global and European security policy processes, towards adaptation and resistance at the national and organizational level. In recent years my focus has turned to sustainability and non-traditional security actors such as children and teachers. My current interests lie in the field of animals and security, and food and security where I wish to focus my research and teaching. I have experience teaching at all levels in the academic system and currently supervise one doctoral candidate, another finalized his studies last year. When it comes to academic leadership, I have been director of studies and a member of what is comparable to a faculty board – FoUN – where I have been vice chair and chair of the research committee. During 2021-2023 I was associate editor of the international journal: Gender, Work & Organization.
