Kent Andersson received a MSc in engineering physics from Uppsala University, Sweden, in 1990 and a Licentiate degree in solid state physics in 1993. In 2018 he received his PhD in military sciences from the National Defence University of Finland. The theme of the dissertation was the military utility of material optics applied in camouflage applications. Kent has a background as an officer in the Swedish armed forces and has a broad knowledge in the development of command and control systems. He is currently the project manager for developing a new master´s program in Defence and Security Systems Development starting in the autumn of 2019.
