Graduation Ceremony

The Swedish Defence University graduation ceremony for civilian students is for those who have applied for and received a Bachelor’s, Master’s or Magister degree from the Swedish Defence University. The registration period for 2026 is closed.

Graduation Ceremonies 2026

22 October

15:00 – Higher Education Diploma and Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science
17:00 – Bachelor’s and Master’s Degrees in Leadership and Command & Control, and Bachelor’s Degree in International Operational Law
18:30 – Bachelor’s and Master’s Degrees in Military History

23 October

16:00 - Master’s Degrees in War Studies and International Operational Law
18:00 - Master’s Degrees in Political Science and System Science for Defence and Security

Ceremony and reception

The ceremony will last approximately one hour and will take place in Sverigesalen. It includes speeches from teachers and graduates, presentation of diplomas, and music. Please note that the diploma has no legal status.

After the ceremony, all guests are invited to a reception at Mässen.
