Gerry Larsson honoured for his research on leadership and stress

Gerry Larsson, professor at the Department of Leadership and Command and Control, receives the Royal Swedish Academy of War Sciences' Gold Medal for his expertise in leadership and stress research.

He has also received the Albergska Prize, presented by the Lars and Astrid Alberg Foundation for “supporting research of essential importance to the defence of the Realm.”

“The Royal Swedish Academy of War Sciences’ Gold Medal of Merit and the Albergska Prize feel like a recognition of both the academic and practical significance of the leadership and stress research that my colleagues and I have conducted over several decades. And of course, I also feel happy and proud,” he says.

The awards will be presented at the Royal Swedish Academy of War Sciences’ formal annual meeting in November.
